Projects in the lab are designed around the following:
1. Function of surface exposed proteins in borrelial infection and pathogenesis
2. Understanding how Borrelia adapts to the different environments it can occupy.
Please browse our site to learn more details about our research team--both current and past, what we do here at Texas A&M, and view recent publications from the lab.
We train enthusiastic and engaged scientists in molecular pathogenesis research. The Skare Lab has a track record of trainees finding success within their preferred career path. If you are interested in joining the group as a potential undergraduate, graduate, or postdoctoral fellow, please contact Jon Skare at jskare@tamu.edu
